Registration Now Open: OD Expert Group Hybrid Event at the European Parliament in Strasbourg

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the OD Expert Group’s upcoming event, hosted by the Kangaroo Group at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The event will focus on our newly published report, “An EU Access Toolbox for OMPs: Enabling Early and Equitable Access”, developed with the input of leading rare disease policy experts from the broad rare disease ecosystem.

At a pivotal moment for European healthcare, this event will highlight key policy proposals designed to bridge delays in pricing & reimbursement, accelerate early access for people living with a rare disease, and enable rapid access to cross-border healthcare, ultimately with the goal of shaping EU and national health policy frameworks.

As the EU reemphasises the need for a competitive ecosystem, including through the upcoming Biotech Act, the OMP ecosystem must not be left behind. The access landscape must be part of the discussion of a competitive ecosystem both to develop therapies and make them available. The OD Expert Group’s actionable toolbox of solutions would serve as a driver for EU competitiveness.

The event will feature a panel with our experts and a Q&A session.
