Event Recap: An EU Access Toolbox for OMPs
On November 26th, the OD Expert Group was hosted by the Kangaroo Group for a lively discussion in the European Parliament in Strasbourg on our report “An EU Access Toolbox for OMPs that enables early and equitable access” in the context of the Biotech Act and competitiveness. As the EU focuses on competitiveness across policies, including through the upcoming Biotech Act, the OMP ecosystem must not be left behind. The OD Expert Group stresses that access to OMPs must be part of the discussion on ecosystem competitiveness, with a view to the development and availability of medicines. The OD Expert Group’s actionable toolbox of solutions would drive for EU competitiveness.
